Die Literatür (Dauerausschreibung)
Mit der "Literatür" öffnen wir literarische Türen. Treten Sie ein, und genießen Sie allerlei anregende Kolumnen, Rezensionen, Gedichte, Kurzprosa, "einfach Text", und sonstige visuelle, auditive wie audiovisuelle Beiträge rund um die Themen Literatur und Sprache. Für uns als Verlagsteam sind das Themen, die stets gesellschaftliche Relevanz besitzen. Die Literatür setzt sich also aus zwei Komponenten zusammen: dem Bild einer Tür und einem literarischen Text. Bild und Text können von demselben Autor bzw. Künstler stammen, werden von uns jedoch nicht zusammen im selben Beitrag veröffentlicht. Unsere Absicht ist es, Beiträge von verschiedenen Künstlern und Disziplinen in einer Bild-Text-Kombination zusammenzubringen und miteinander zu vernetzen.
Das Türbild
Das Türbild könnte sein: ein Foto (in Schwarz-weiß oder Farbe), die künstlerische Darstellung (bspw. Collage, Graffiti, Zeichnung etc.) oder das Kurzvideo einer Tür (mit oder ohne Toneffekte). Der Kreativität sind keine Grenzen gesetzt. Die Auflösung des Bildes sollte 300 dpi oder 2 MB (im JPG-, PNG-Format) bzw. 5 MB bei Videos (im MOV-, MP4-Format) nicht überschreiten.
Die Text(tür)
Es können Beiträge in deutscher und englischer Sprache aus allen literarischen Gattungen eingereicht werden, ebenso Songtexte und Textbesprechungen/Rezensionen der "Kulibris" (= verlagseigenen Texte). Ein Beitrag darf nicht mehr als 7.500 Zeichen (inklusive Leerzeichen) umfassen bzw. nicht mehr als 3 Gedichte oder 1 Songtext. Schicken Sie uns Ihre Texte im Word- oder in einem Word-kompatiblen Format. Bei der Veröffentlichung Ihres Textes, wird dieser in Rücksprache mit Ihnen professionell lektoriert und gesetzt. Bitte teilen Sie uns in Ihrer E-Mail in einigen wenigen Sätzen (maximal 3) mit, warum Sie schreiben bzw. wie Sie zum Schreiben gekommen sind. Gern können Sie sich hierbei an den bereits veröffentlichten Literatüren orientieren.
Es besteht, sowohl das Türbild als auch die Text(tür) betreffend, kein Recht auf Veröffentlichung. Die Auswahl der jeweiligen Bilder und Texte – und Bild-Text-Kombinationen – obliegt dem Verlag. Mit der Einsendung Ihres Beitrages versichern Sie, dass Sie allein berechtigt sind, über die urheberrechtlichen Nutzungsrechte zu verfügen, und dass Ihre Einsendung(en) keine Darstellungen von Personen oder Ereignissen beinhalten, mit denen das Risiko einer Persönlichkeitsrechtsverletzung verbunden ist. Eine Vergütung wird nicht gezahlt. Dafür besteht die Möglichkeit der Veröffentlichung auf unserer Website. Da wir jede Einsendung gewissenhaft prüfen, unsere Kapazitäten jedoch begrenzt sind, bitten wir Sie, von Nachfragen zum aktuellen Stand der Begutachtung abzusehen. Gute Dinge brauchen Zeit. Wir melden uns bei Ihnen, sobald wir eine Entscheidung, Ihren Beitrag zu veröffentlichen oder nicht, getroffen haben.

Call for proposals
The 'Literatür' (permanent call for proposals)
The 'Literatür' is a gateway to literary doors. Please come in and enjoy all sorts of inspiring columns, reviews, poems, short prose work, 'simply text'
and other visual and auditory as well as audiovisual contributions focusing on the topics literature and language. We believe these topics are relevant and will always be relevant to society. The 'Literatür' consists of two components: the image of a door and a literary text. The image and the text can be from the same author or artist, but we won’t publish both of them in the same posting. It is our intention to bring together contributions of different artists and disciplines in an image-text-combination to crosslink these elements and thus encourage intercommunication.
The image of the door
The image of the door could be: a photo (black and white or in colour), an artistic depiction (for example a collage, graffiti, drawing etc.) or a short video of a door (with or without sound effects). When it comes to creativity: The sky's the limit. The resolution of the image should be 300 dpi or 2 MB (in JPG-, PNG-format) or rather should not exceed 5 MB in case of videos (in MOV-, MP4-format).
The literary (text) door
Please feel free to hand in contributions in either German or English from all sorts of literary genres, as well as lyrics and reviews of the "Kulibri" (= in-house texts). Your contribution should not exceed a limit of 7.500 characters (including blanks), or more specifically it should not comprise of more than three poems or one songtext. We kindly ask you to send us your text in Word format or a format that is compatible with Word. In case we decide in favour of publishing your text, it will be professionally edited and typesetted after consulting you. In your email, please let us know in a few sentences (three at maximum) why you are writing and what motivated you to start writing. You are very welcome to use the already published contributions in this section as a source of inspiration.
There is no right to publication for both image and text. The choice how images and texts will be combined resides with the publishing house. If you send us your text, you are also confirming that you are the sole owner of the copyright and the legal rights of use. Moreover, your contribution should not contain images or descriptions of people or events that pose the risk of privacy infringement or violation of personality. You will not receive a remuneration, however, you have the chance to publish your text on our website. We are treating every submission with care, and it is important for us to diligently examine each contribution. Surely, you understand that good things take time. Since our capacities are limited, we cannot keep you updated about the current status. Please be assured that we will get back to you as soon as we made a decision whether your text will get published.
